The Music Department has a large classroom which is equipped with many technological pieces of equipment.
There are two soundproofing practice rooms which enable students to practice at break time and lunch time.
Key stage 3 musical lessons consist of composing, performing and listening to a range of musical styles.
GCSE music is offered at key stage 4.
The school also has a choir and pupils’ receive tuition in a range of instruments e.g.

Woodwind tuition
Brass tuition
Drum tuition.
